PHACT™ PHA Earns Home Compost Certification for Flexible Film Grades

Two PHACT™ PHA film grades have completed home compost certification, giving converters a verified route to compostable flexible packaging.

The certification covers blown and cast film applications, including produce bags, mailer liners and lamination layers. Certification testing confirmed full breakdown under ambient home composting conditions, without the elevated temperatures an industrial facility provides.
